Comedy & Everything Else ep. 159 Ian Bagg, Ed Salazar

Comedy and Everything Else Episode #159 Ian Bagg Ed Salazar

This Week:

Ian Bagg and Ed Salazar! We like Ian cuz we find out that he likes talking about stuff!!

Each week Jimmy Dore, Stefane Zamorano and guests get together to talk about comedy, and everything else on their minds.

If you’re new to this podcast, welcome to the party! We’ve had many interesting and well-known guests on the show, and there’s bound to be something thought-provoking in each episode.

Don’t forget to subscribe, donate, review the show on iTunes, or give us a call at (323) 375-4170!

Wow that was a big mp3. Good show, though!

Canadians are terrific! I think I will move there one day.

OMG! Call Nick Sharia! Apparently Geller need not worry so much about Sharia Law but Hasidic Law is here today!!!!

At Front of Brooklyn Bus, a Clash of Religious and Women’s Rights
She said women could not sit in the front and men sit in the back because “they’re not allowed to see the women.” But she acknowledged that the B110 bus was not just for members of the Hasidic community and other Orthodox Jews.

oops, forgot this:

CBS 2’s Kathryn Brown found out first hand on Wednesday when she took a ride (see video below).

Boarding the B-110 bus in Borough Park, Brown had no problem sitting right up front. But after several stops one passenger informed her that she needed to move to the back of the bus.

This is unrelated to the show, but could you PLEASE school your friend Harland Williams on what he calls “taxing the rich”? I love his podcast, but his rants in episodes 257 and 329 on it make him sound really uneducated and silly (this coming from a complete moron). I’ve taken breaks from his show twice because of that. You are the absolute best at breaking things down without coming across condescending, so how about giving it a go?

It’s “eh”. That aside, I LOVE Comedy and Everything Else and I especially enjoy the fact that the podcast gets such a wide, diverse set of guests. Other podcats get much more mainstream guests and have now started to include obviously promotional phone calls at the end, but C&EE has stuck to its, unstated (I think), mission. Bravo!

Here’s a thought: C&EE shows with BOTH Jimmy and Stef. Jimmy, I saw you once at a venue I know you didn’t like, but I would love to see both you AND Stefane on one show. I live in New York, but I’d definitely try to get to LA for such a show. I’m not sure how many podcast fans would do the same, but I bet you have some big pockets of fans in major metropolitan areas. Get all PFT on it and arrange some shows. That seemed a bit feminine to type, but I’m trying to express my enthusiasm and support. Be well.

Hey Geoff, I appreciate the idea and the enthusiasm for the show. And it didn’t seem feminine to me at all. Stef often performs in sketches on the Left Right & RIdiculous, but we are looking into doing live CAEE shows.
