  • Even Gordon Gecko has had a belly full of the greed of the 1%. He calls in to lend a little perspective that only a fictional character can.Bill
  • Oreilley has written a new book about Pres. Lincoln that is has even more factual errors than his nightly show, and that has caused some problems for the aging enemy of the people not used to smart people reading and reviewing his work.
  • Herman Cain calls in to explain his Libya Gaff and ends up making a Milwaukee gaff.

Originating from KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles, The Jimmy Dore Show is an irreverent and humorous take on today’s headlines and hypocrites. The program skewers politicians as well as the corporate mouthpieces which make up today’s mainstream “news media.” Each and every week, The Jimmy Dore Show provides the unvarnished truth with a twist of funny.

Don’t slight the Rip Torn phone calls – they are pure, note- perfect Hollywood Comedy gold nirvana – basically crack for non-users. The Larry Scorch reference a few weeks back, along with the story line of out-of-control 70s Hollywood, was just thrills, boyee.
I once read in some TV encyclopedia about a Showtime show that was a trailblazer (probably lasted about three episodes) about this kind of satirical bombast about TV Hollywood, but that was before I could afford TV, let alone Showtime.
Great stuff – Gilmartin is still pumping that purple pedal, but it’s become a good running gag.

Does anyone else think that Cain did the “who’s on first” bit at the end of the real Libya clip.

I love Rip Torn Too! And its fun having Paul pumping the purple pedal, makes it more fun when I get to debunk him don’t you think?

And I think Herman Cain’s whole campaign is an Abbott and Costello bit!
