Jimmy Dore Show - March 3, 2011

Jimmy Dore Show

Join Jimmy and his guests Frank Conniff, Robert Yasumura and Ben Zelevansky as they discuss those filthy Wisconsin protestors, the stuff Ari Fleischer would like to spend money on, Mike Huckabee’s rebirth as a birther, and how Brian Williams is like the William Hurt character from Broadcast News minus the self-awareness…plus a call from Moron, voicemails from Charlie Sheen and much much more!

Originating from KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles, The Jimmy Dore Show is an irreverent and humorous take on today’s headlines and hypocrites. The program skewers politicians as well as the corporate mouthpieces which make up today’s mainstream “news media.” Each and every week, The Jimmy Dore Show provides the unvarnished truth with a twist of funny.

I guess that Mike Huckabee forgot that the attitude of our Kenyan president is not that different from how the Founding Fathers felt about the British. What madrassa did George Washington belong to?

Your show is consistently the funniest and the wittiest program I’ve found. You and your ensemble are supremely talented comedians, as are your guests. I recommend your program to all my thinking friends.

I had to mention this item to you, in case you did not hear about it. Maybe it is too easy a target for comedy, but it ought to get an “Oh, my God!” out of Paul Gilmartin. Chris Matthews of Fox News actually takes the role of a real journalist in this interview. (I was shocked to think he’d be to the ‘left’ of anything except the right-hand wall in a room – but he is on this occasion. Shows you how one-sided this issue really is – he can’t even pretend to give it ‘fair and balanced’ treatment!)

Keep up the fabulous work!

It’s ironic how many OMG!!! moments this show had, and yet no Paul Gilmartin of Dinner and a Movie.

Great job all around guys, except I have one complaint: top of the show, when you mentioned the pastor getting arrested for masturbating in front of children, robert yasamura? laughed real hard, and for a nanosecond I thought he thought that’s a funny thing to do, less than a second later I realized he was laughing at the hypocrisy of it all. I’ll never get that nanosecond back.

thanks man.

thanks for being so damn funny, and giving us another name on our painfully short list of people paying attention to what’s being said and what isn’t being said, and responding to it with some intelligence.

You crack me up.
