Jimmy, my friend once came in on Monday hungover to school in high school. I wouldn’t be surprised if he also did something else but the funny story went like this. He was late for school that day because he was wasted the night before. When he woke up he woke up in a closet. Didn’t know where he was and it took him about 10-15mins to get out and leave for school. That is why he forgot his backpack and all of his homework. It was one of the funniest stories he told. I am sure that is extremely rare though.

Thanks for this hilarious ha bisky podcast. I love you guys. You are all so fucking awesome.

What blows my mind about that clip (and maybe this is because I’m a young man, 25) is when Rich Lowry said “whatever you think of Daniel Ellsberg.” It’s indicative of this recent Ellsberg minimizing I’ve noticed. I’ve never known Daniel Ellsberg as anything but a hero who exposed war crimes, illegal campaigns in Cambodia and Laos, and systematic lies. I’ve heard several other news outlets speak in the same terms as if what Ellsberg did or exposed is up for interpretation and he’s this flawed figure who may have hurt innocent people and may have done the wrong thing by helping to end the Vietnam War. Bullshit! Ellsberg exposed a systematic cover up that threatened the people in power so they broke into his psychiatrist’s office to get dirt on him, violated his 4th amendment rights (and many other people’s rights), and put his ass on trial.

I have this theory that so many Republicans who were involved in Nixon’s part of the cover up mentioned in the Pentagon Papers or were part of Nixon’s cabinet and administration in a shady ways are still powerful today (Rumsfeld, Cheney, H.W. Bush, Roger Ailes (who probably helped Nixon commit treason by negotiating with the North Vietnamese behind Johnson’s back), ect.) so the modern news media probably finds it impolite to call Nixon the cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is… and call out the FACT that Nixon was a huge criminal and traitor to the office on top of all that.
