How’s it going buddy? I’m hoping that if and when you talk about Alex Jones and that crackpot Piers Morgan you bring up Dr. Paul Craig Robert’s point “You can’t have a police state with an armed population.”

I’m not a big gun fan, however I do believe the US is well on its way to becoming a police state. An armed population probably won’t stop it, but I can imagine it makes the leaders apprehensive about passing something that would cause an all out civil war if the other side is armed.

If you do promote a gun ban, how about a word on whether or not you would include police weapons. No one mentions them. I hope you include “non-lethal” weapons in the discussion.

If the goal is to prevent these shootings, isn’t an all out ban necessary? In the school shooting the shooter stole his mom’s weapons. There aren’t any restrictive measures that will screen people that could have their guns stolen.

I bring up these points because, imho, the whole argument against these weapons is one sided, reactive, and right out of the pages of the shock doctrine. These shootings, although tragic, are a nothing compared to the killing the US is doing all over the world. How can you compare shooting up school to destroying a village? You cant, because the village isn’t covered and those people aren’t white. And its not like the school shooter used depleted uranium rounds that will kill children and babies for generation, after generation, after generation. Du has a half life of 4.47 billions of years. For perspective the sun is expected to burn out in 4.5 billions years. So, as long as the sun shines du will be causing death and birth defects on this planet. So if any weapon is to be banned lets start with these one. If only there were a set international laws to hold people and countries accountable for using such weapons.

Alex Jones may be the exception, but I hope you don’t dismiss everything he is saying.

Hey, great program as always. With so much going on, I thought I’d remind you regarding the “religiosity” claim that “if they hadn’t banned prayer in schools, they wouldn’t have been shot up” – perfect counter example, the heavily religious amish and their school shooting in 2006.
